Having worked in community mental health, managed care and private practice, Robin Hornstein, Ph.D.. and Randi Platt, M.Ed. formed Hornstein, Platt and Associates based on the idea of offering an insurance friendly practice that features experienced therapists in a warm, professional setting, distinguishing us from typical managed care "clinics".  We have taken great care to choose therapists who we feel are both effective and easy to connect with, and to create an atmosphere that is private and pleasant to be in. Now in its 12th year, we are proud to say that our group has emerged as respected presence in the Delaware Valley, known for offering expert therapy, prompt response to appointment requests,  precise evaluations, individualized treatment design and open collaboration with others who assist you in your growth.  We believe that having a group of professionals offers you the best chance of being treated by an expert in your area of need at appointment times that are convenient for you.

Recently, we realized from the feedback of our clients and from our decade of experience, that there are other therapeutic services that are as important as psychotherapy in maintaining a well balanced life.  That is why we have added a Psychiatrist, a Nutritionist, a Professional Organizer and a Life Coach to our staff this year.
