
Heather Rudalavage RD, LDN
Heather is a licensed registered dietitian/ nutritionist with 15 years of clinical experience. She received her BS degree in Nutrition from The Pennsylvania State University, and completed the clinical portion of her dietetic internship at Abington Hospital. Upon receiving her RD, she worked at several Philadelphia area hospitals as a clinical dietitian. Since then, she has been counseling patients in an outpatient setting.
Heather works with children, adolescents, adults and families on nutritional issues. In addition to the supportive structure of meal planning, she encourages a mindful approach to eating, rather than traditional diets. Heather practices a strict “no-judgment” philosophy of nutrition consultation. She has experience counseling patients with disordered eating including anorexia, bulimia and compulsivity, Heather has also worked with such issues as GI iproblems, food allergies, ADHD, Autism, heart disease, weight control and picky eating. In addition, Heather consults with families that want to improve their overall health and wellness through the foods they choose.
Heather’s goal is to provide gentle nutrition advice while teaching individuals how to begin to tune in to their bodies to know what, when and how to eat for a lifetime.
