Hypnontherapy


Hypnotherapy uses guided hypnosis to reach your deeper subconscious mind, allowing for a heightened state of understanding of self.  A trained hypnotherapist uses relaxation techniques to guide you into a relaxed and calm state. This relaxed state facilitates feelings of safety and openness, supporting you in safely exploring painful memories or reprocessing emotions or events from a different perspective.  You are in control during a hypnotherapy and will be able to remember and recall what happens during hypnosis following the session.

Hypnotherapy aims to create positive change, whether it be decreasing destructive habits such as smoking or substance use, phobias, depression or anxiety, sleep issues, PTSD symptoms, weight loss, pain management or sexual dysfunction.  As with other forms of therapy and healing, the length of treatment is variable.
